the best way to wear knitwear is to layer it. I like to wear a lot of cardigans, which can easily be styled with t-shirts and some nice jeans. I also love wearing sweaters as layering pieces. One thing that you might want to consider is the temperature outside! If you are wearing something knitted that rises up over your head, make sure it covers your neck! That's a personal style preference of mine; it keeps my neck warm in cooler weather.
