I want to show you my favorite sweaters and skirts street style combinations to try this year. It’s still wintertime outside and we need to wear something comfy, elegant and cozy. These two garments are great for creating new looks that can work for day and evening events. I will show what type of outfits you can wear depending on the season or occasion. I’ve noticed that streetwear is similar to fashion: skirts and sweaters are great to protect us during cold weather. I love wearing this type of clothes, because they reflect my personality and style. They’re perfect for casual occasions, such as going out, romantic dates, or even when you have just arrived at work and want to look good.
I’m not a fan of winter though because it’s hard for me to find any streetwear pieces that will make me feel comfortable since we’re stuck in a state of mind where we will always be cold. However, there are plenty of things that I can do with my sweaters and skirts, such as wearing a longline coat, tights or boots.
In order to show you what type of clothes match with these two types of clothes, I did some research on the net. The idea was to find different street style outfits that will show you how to wear sweaters and skirts.
After looking at the pictures, I noticed that it’s best to wear sweaters and skirts during winter or spring because you can wear them with your knee high socks, longline coat or tights to ensure maximum comfort and enhance your wardrobe budget by making the most out of them. Easy Outfit Ideas With Sweaters And Skirts
Of course, everything depends on what kind of look you want to achieve. You can either create a casual daywear look or keep things elegant and classy. Sweater and skirt can be styled with boots or your favorite pumps. Another thing that is very important- tights.
Sure, if you live in a warm-weather zone, then there will be no problem with wearing a skirt and sweater with no tights during wintertime. I know that there are readers who come from cold countries (or should I say with a subarctic climate), that’s why I will add some nice street style inspiration completed with cozy and sexy tights.
Frankly speaking, there are so many interesting sweaters and skirts styles you can choose this year. I mean, you can go for plain, oversized, cropped and even turtleneck sweater, while your skirt can be either mini, midi, maxi, full, A-line, pencil, and tulle.
Keep attention to accessories and jewelry. You can add such things as scarves, beautiful and eye-catchy bracelets, necklaces and clutch bags. the perfect winter look is when you throw on a big old cozy sweater over your skirt. The high-waisted skirt—whether it's leather, tweed, wool or cotton—is not only a practical garment for the winter months, but it also looks effortlessly chic.
