Why You Need Sunglasses This Summer
I am obsessed with sunglasses. During the day when it is blazing hot outside they give me a sense of coolness and also protect my eyes from being blinded by the sun, and at night they add an extra layer of mystery that I love. I LOVE wearing sunglasses but can’t always find ones that flatter my face shape like round, or tear drop (longer in the front).
The majority of women’s sunglasses don’t tend to look good on our faces because the lenses are round which means they cut us off at our temples. This can look really bad if you have an oval or heart shaped face, so it’s best to stick to the trends that look good on all shapes of faces.
The best style for women is the cat eye any shape! I am a sucker for cat eyes and I’ve been seeing them pop up everywhere lately which is great because they will always look good.
The other trend is round frames with thin lenses and small rims that sit far from your face. This is another trend that looks great on all face shapes, so if you’re not into the cat eye try switching it up with these frames instead.
This pair of rounded shades are ideal for heart-shaped ladies. Update your look with these classic shades. Add a lightweight dress shirt in white and classic jeans:
This hot season comes with stunning shades, where each design looks creative and original. Of course, everything depends on your personal style and face shape, but I know several sunnies that will suit you ideally, no matter if you are square, oval, heart or round face shapes. Anyway, read on to find out more and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
Best Sunglasses For Heart-shaped Faces
The heart-shaped/ triangle faces look great with rounded sunnies, cat-eye sunglasses and oversized designs that can ideally balance your overall style. I personally love rectangular, oval, and aviator shaped sunglasses to see on heart-shaped faces. Why? These shades balance out your facial structure, plus make the jawline appear wider, as well as accentuate your high cheekbones and define your jaw. If you are a beginner, then go for Wayfarers or cat-eye shades.

Best Sunglasses For Rounded Faces
The round-shaped faces can look great with high-on-the-temple and colorful frames. Rounded faces look chic with rectangular and square frame sunglasses. They will be the best match. In other words, any frame that is wider than your face will definitely balance your features. These shades will enhance your face and make it appear longer and thinner. Make sure to find the ones that elongate and play down the fullness of your cheeks. I also love frames with strong angles and straight lines.
Tortoise rounded sunglasses
Tortoise rounded sunglasses are perfect for rounded faces. Add a crispy white shirt and tailored pants:
Classic oversized shades

Best Sunglasses For Square Faces
The square faces look great with almost any kind of sunnies. Plus, square-shaped faces look chic with oversized sunglasses. Square faces look chic with round and oval-shaped frames. They will make the face look more balanced and round out the sharpness. I love aviators, butterflies, rounded and 1990s style frames. If you are a square face woman, then you definitely should give a try to aviators, butterflies and sexy Wayfarers.

Best Sunglasses For Oval faces
If you have an oval face shape, then go for aviators, rounded shades and Clubmaster sunglasses. Most of the stylists consider this face shape to be perfect for any sunglasses. Why? Because of its balanced proportions. I recommend to try on Wayfarers, they look chic with professional and casual clothes, trust me, they will complement your face shape without overly accenting a narrow forehead and chin. By the way, walnut-shaped frames are perfect for oval faces, as you need to look for eyeglass frames that are as wide as (or wider than) the broadest part of the face.
Cat-eye rounded sunglasses
Cat-eye rounded sunglasses ideally suit oval faces. They can be worn with a casual bun hairstyle:

your sunglasses are the easiest way to add a touch of color to your outfit and make you feel confident. In fact, sunglasses have inspired a whole new trend of women's eyewear. From bright, summery colors such as neon orange and hot pink, to more muted hues like dark brown or bronze- be sure to complement what you're wearing with the right pair of shades! It's also worth noting that many popular sunglass styles this season include pretty details like oversized frames or unique shapes. It’s never been easier than it is now for stylish women everywhere to accessorize their outfits with style.

this season, designer sunglasses with monochrome-striped frames are more popular than their full-color counterparts. If you look around and also think this (I can’t tell why I have a feeling that we think alike), then you should be happy to know that there are several styles released just this summer! These sunglasses trends seem to be following the “less is more” mantra; it’s all about the frames. The best part is that they will fit any outfit and any occasion.

the most important thing to know is that sunglasses are extensions of your style and personality. You can make a statement with your little black dress, but you can use your shades to really let the world know who you are.
When selecting sunglasses, it’s important to find a style that suits the shape of your face.

I am not into trends of sunglasses, but I like experimenting with different shades. In this collection I liked white heartshaped sunglasses, wooden shades and oversized clubmaster shades.
